Curriculum
She obtained her diploma from the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in 1982, specialising in the restoration of drawings and prints, and in 1994 graduated in Art History from the University of Urbino. Since 1985 she has been a conservator officer at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure; from 2006 technical director of the Paper and Parchment Materials Conservation Department; and from 2009 to October 2023 Director of the Opificio’s School of Advanced Training and Studies. In 2011 she co-directed the first-level master’s programme in “Conservation and Restoration of Contemporary Art” organised by the OPD, and since 2016 has been coordinator of the ITP International Training Projects programme of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism.
Specialising in the study of graphic techniques, over the course of her career she has restored works by, among others, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Guido Reni, Giovanni Segantini, Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, Umberto Boccioni, Federico Fellini, Savinio, Mino Maccari and Marcel Duchamp. She is also the author of numerous publications on the restoration of drawings and works on paper and parchment. In 2014 she edited the volumes *Il futuro del Contemporaneo* and *I professionisti del restauro*, both published by Edifir.
