She teaches Contemporary Art History at the Politecnico di Milano, School of Design, where she is a researcher. She studied at the University of Siena, where she taught at the School of Specialisation in Art History. Her three-year research fellowship at that institution was devoted to the site-specific art system in Italy and Europe. She has collaborated with the Tuscany Region’s culture department on various mapping and research projects on contemporary art.

One of her research areas is site-specific art, public art and art in museums and parks, to which she has dedicated texts, conference presentations and essays. She sits on the scientific committee of the Fondazione Giardino di Daniel Spoerri and is currently preparing a volume on the art system in natural and urban landscapes, of which she is editor.
