Curriculum

She graduated in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Genoa in 1995. From 1997 to 2000 she collaborated, through a CNR research grant, with the Scientific Laboratory of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, for which she also began teaching.

From 2000 to 2010 she provided consultancy to private firms in the conservation sector on methodologies and materials for conservation treatments and diagnostic investigations on works of art. During the same period she held numerous teaching appointments, including the course in Chemistry for Conservation at the School of Specialisation in Architectural and Landscape Heritage at the Department of Architecture and Design of the University of Genoa, the course in Chemistry for Conservation II at SUPSI in Switzerland, and the course in General Chemistry at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence.

Since 2010, in addition to her teaching activity, she has been a member of staff at the Ministry of Culture at the Soprintendenza Archeologia Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Metropolitan City of Genoa and the Province of La Spezia.

Over the years she has published numerous articles on chemistry and diagnostic investigations for the study and conservation of works of art, edited three volumes, and participated in various national and international conferences on the subject.
