A conservator of textile and leather materials. Following a degree in Cultural Heritage from the University of Salento with a dissertation on “Issues in the Restoration of Ancient Textiles in Italy: the Restoration of the Court Dress of Marie Louise of Austria”, she continued her training by attending various courses in the identification of textiles, embroideries and lace, and graduating from the School of Advanced Training and Studies of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence with a dissertation on “The Restoration of Two Painted Leather Cushions from the Museo Stibbert: Methods for Cleaning and Consolidation”. As the owner of her own practice, she has worked for fifteen years in the conservation and restoration of textile and leather objects of great artistic value and significance, for soprintendenze, Italian museum institutions and well-known conservation studios.
