Curriculum

A conservator and art historian with over fifteen years of experience in the conservation of artistic heritage, specialising in the restoration of frescoes, mural paintings and stucco, she has collaborated with public and private institutions in Italy and France. She works in the conservation and restoration of decorated surfaces, with particular attention to the analysis of materials and execution techniques, and carries out historical and art-historical documentation aimed at the study and enhancement of decorative contexts. She is the author of essays and contributions on 20th-century Tuscan mural painting and on the relationship between art and spirituality. Since 2024 she has been a conservator officer at the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence.

**Professional activity**

From 2006 to 2023 she collaborated with the firm S.A.R. di Cristiana Conti & C., participating in numerous restoration projects on frescoes and decorated surfaces in Florentine monumental complexes, including Palazzo Vecchio, the Ospedale degli Innocenti, Palazzo Guadagni Strozzi Sacrati and the Basilica della Santissima Annunziata in Florence. She also participated in the restoration of the Italian Memorial at Auschwitz and in the restoration of the Torrione degli Spagnoli in Carpi and the external facing of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. She worked with the French laboratory ARCANES RD on the restoration of the mural paintings of the Chancellerie d’Orléans in Paris, and with the firm ATELIERS RD on the recovery of the decorations executed by Viollet-le-Duc at the Château de Pierrefonds.

**Education**

She holds a Master’s Degree in Art History from the University of Florence, obtained with full marks and distinction, and a Degree in Cultural Heritage Sciences from the University of Siena. In 2006 she obtained the qualification of Specialist Technician in Fresco Restoration from the Istituto per l’Arte e il Restauro at Palazzo Spinelli. She also holds the qualification of Cultural Heritage Conservator pursuant to Article 182, paragraph 1-sexies, of Legislative Decree 42/2004.
