Curriculum

She graduated with distinction in Law and holds a doctorate in Comparative Law. She is a practising lawyer and teaches Comparative Law of Obligations and Contracts at the University of Milano-Bicocca and Art Law on the Master’s Programme in Contemporary Art Markets at the Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti in Milan (NABA). She works on contemporary art and the legal issues connected with it. In 2015 she was named winner of the second edition of the international prize “Jacques Derrida / Law and Culture International Chair of Philosophy”; she is also director of the training course for “Artist Archive Curator” of the Associazione Italiana degli Archivi d’Artista (AitArt) and co-director of the International Summer School in “Identity and Conservation of Contemporary Art: Duties and Responsibility” in Venaria.

She is director of the series of studies “Diritto Comparato dell’Arte” and a member of the Editorial Board of the International Review of Art and Law, Brill Research Perspectives Publisher. She is vice-president of the Scientific Committee of the Associazione Italiana Archivi d’Artista, a member of the scientific committee of the Centre for Research in Artistic and Cultural Heritage at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Bi-PAC) and a member of the Board of Careof — a non-profit organisation for contemporary artistic research. She is also a member of the SIRD, the Associazione Italiana di Diritto Comparato, the Association Henri Capitant des Amis de la Culture Juridique Française, now Latine (Italian section), the Associazione Bergamo Scienza, the Art Law Foundation in Geneva and the Associazione per Filippo de Pisis.
