She obtained her diploma from the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence in 1998, qualifying as a conservator of polychrome wooden sculptures. From 2003 she worked from her own laboratory, serving various Italian soprintendenze, and collaborated with the Opificio delle Pietre Dure on projects including the Pulpits by Donatello and the Crucifix by Antonio del Pollaiolo in the Basilica of San Lorenzo, the Crucifix by Benedetto da Maiano in Florence Cathedral, and works by Anton Maria Maragliano and Valdambrino. Concurrently she taught at the Università Internazionale dell’Arte on the Cultural Heritage Conservation course, and at the OPD School of Advanced Training as a contract lecturer. In 2012 she taught at the University of Palermo in the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, PFP2. In 2017 she was appointed by the Museo Galileo in Florence, where she worked as curator of the collections. Since 2018 she has been a conservator officer in the public administration, working initially at the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Provinces of Pistoia and Prato, and from 2019 at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in the Polychrome Wooden Sculptures department.

She currently teaches at the School of Advanced Training in PFP2 and works as a conservator in the Fortezza da Basso laboratory.
