Curriculum
Having graduated in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (LMR/02) from the University of Palermo and obtained her professional qualification, she specialised in the restoration of objects with a predominance of textile and leather materials belonging to private and public institutions at regional and national level. She has carried out inventory, cataloguing, digitisation and conservation work on Italian cultural heritage at the MiBACT, research on nanostructured materials and nanotechnologies for the conservation of metal cultural heritage objects at the CNR, and teaching at vocational training institutions and on conservation qualification courses at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Palermo. Since 2019 she has been a conservator officer at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in the Tapestry and Carpet Conservation department at the Sala delle Bandiere in Palazzo Vecchio.
