Curriculum

She obtained her diploma in 2008 from the School of Advanced Training and Studies of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in the Tapestry and Carpet department, and in 2011 completed the Master’s Programme in Conservation and Restoration of Contemporary Art at the same Institute. She consolidated her experience in conservation by collaborating on the restoration of the medieval tapestries of the Museo Nazionale del Bargello with the OPD, and on numerous conservation projects for textile and leather objects with the Consorzio La Tela di Penelope at the Museo del Tessuto in Prato. A conservation teacher and dissertation supervisor, she has contributed to publications and research projects; in 2018 she joined the Ministry of Culture having succeeded in a public competition. She works as a conservator officer in the Tapestry and Carpet Laboratory at the Sala delle Bandiere in Palazzo Vecchio and is teaching coordinator of Professional Training Pathway 3 (textile and leather materials and objects) at the OPD School of Advanced Training and Studies.
