Curriculum

Having obtained her diploma from the ICR in “Conservation of Metals and Constituent Materials of Ancient Furnishings”, with specialisations in “Conservation and Restoration of Stone Objects: Emergency Treatment on Site for Mosaics, Stucco and Mural Paintings” and “Conservation and Restoration of Underwater Archaeological Materials”, since 2001 she has worked at the Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione ed il Restauro (ISCR), Metals and Alloys Laboratory, where she conducts research, provides consultancy, and coordinates, directs and carries out conservation and restoration projects — primarily on metal and alloy objects — both in Italy and abroad.

Previously coordinator of the fourth-year ICR course on “Multi-material Objects (in Metal, Glass and Modern Materials)”, since 2017 she has been teaching coordinator for the conservation disciplines of PFP4. From 2002 to 2019 she taught both nationally, at the School of Advanced Training of the ISCR (formerly ICR) and at other university institutions, and internationally. She supervises master’s dissertations in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (degree class LMR/02). She is a Blue Helmet for Culture and a member of ICOM-MG (International Council of Museums, Metals Working Group).
